You have an idea. Maybe a business, a portfolio or a little corner of the internet that finally feels like you. Lovely. Now comes the part where WordPress shows you seventeen menus and you briefly consider becoming a goat farmer.

Deep breath. Let’s start with the few things that actually matter.

Four pieces, one website

Core is your starting point

LetLex WP Core is the free plugin that brings your LetLex setup and tools together. Start here.

The theme builds the frame

The bundled LetLex base theme handles the layout around your content, including your header and footer.

A style brings the personality

LetLex Original is included. Optional Add-on Styles give the same website a different coordinated look.

Add-on Features bring extra powers

Optional features add useful tools when you need them. Free LetLex Menus, for example, adds menu icons and style-matching navigation.

Before you open the dashboard

You’ll need a WordPress website and administrator access. Your domain is your web address; hosting is where your website lives. LetLex works inside WordPress—it does not replace those services.

Gather a short description of what you do, a way for people to contact you and a few photos you have permission to use. Have a logo? Bring it along. Still figuring that out? Your words can do plenty of heavy lifting.

Build the basics first

Install and activate Core, then follow its setup guidance to install and activate the bundled theme. Choose your style and set up your homepage and Insights page. The plugin’s Help screen explains these steps when you need a hand.

Start with one clear homepage. Tell people who you help, what you offer and what they should do next. Add your own content before spending an afternoon debating whether a button needs two more pixels. We say this with love.

Add extras when you need them

Core includes Content Section, Card and Button blocks. Optional features, such as free LetLex Menus, can be added separately. You can keep your first version simple and grow from there.
